This year, celebrate your love and commitment with a meal that will make your partner smile. Anniversary Chicken tastes as special as anything you could find at a restaurant: savory chicken saturated with a tangy and creamy sauce, melted cheese, and crunchy bacon bits. Served over rice or mashed potatoes, Anniversary Chicken is perfect for intimate evenings in—evenings where you and your partner can just forget about the rest of the world. Oh, and Happy Anniversary!

• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil • 6 chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless • 1/2 cup teriyaki basting sauce • 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded • 3 green onions, chopped • 1/2 (3-ounce) can bacon bits • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, optional, chopped, for garnish

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Add the chicken breasts and sauté until lightly browned, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Step 4

Place the browned chicken breasts in a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 5

Brush the chicken with the teriyaki sauce.

Step 6

Spoon the salad dressing over the chicken.

Step 7

Sprinkle the chicken with cheddar cheese, green onions, and bacon bits.

Step 8

Bake until the chicken is cooked through, reading 165 degrees F when checked with a meat thermometer, about 25-30 minutes.

Step 9

Garnish with the parsley and serve!
