Ingredients
• 4 cups water, divided • 1 cup sugar • 1 cup lemon juice • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, grated • 1 cup blackberriesDirections
Step 1
Bring 2 cups of water and sugar to a boil in a large saucepan on the stove-top.
Step 2
Boil for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat.
Step 3
Stir in the lemon juice, zest, and remaining water. Cool slightly.
Step 4
Combine 1 cup of the lemon mixture and blackberries.
Step 5
Cover and process until blended.
Step 6
Strain and then discard seeds. Pour the blackberry mixture and lemon mixture into a pitcher. Stir well.
Step 7
Refrigerate until chilled.
Step 8
Serve in chilled glasses over ice!
