Ingredients• 1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated jumbo buttermilk biscuits • 1 (9.6 ounce) package pork sausage crumbles • 1/4 cup flour • 2 1/2 cups milk • salt, to taste • pepper, to taste
Bake the biscuits according to package directions.
After the biscuits have gone in the oven, heat a frying pan or skillet over medium heat.
Cook the sausage until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently, about 5-6 minutes.
Add the flour to the skillet while stirring then slowly add the milk.
Cook until the gravy comes to a low boil and thickens, stirring constantly.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 2 more minutes, stirring constantly.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cut the biscuits in half and serve with the warm gravy!
