There are rich dishes, and then there are extremely rich dishes, and then there are the truly decadent dishes. Garlic Butter Steak Bites fall into that last category, unsurprisingly. Fatty, juicy, tender steak is positively coated in a savory butter sauce with mellow garlic. Even saying “Garlic Butter Steak Bites” has the kind of depth of flavor to get bellies rumbling and lips smacking. Seeing it in front of you is a transcendent experience. Knowing you only need 15 minutes or less to make it is priceless.
Ingredients• 1 tablespoon olive oil • 1 1/2 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-size pieces • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste • 1/2 teaspoon pepper, or to taste • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted • 4 cloves garlic, minced • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes • 1 tablespoon parsley fresh, optional, chopped
Heat up the oil in a skillet over high heat on the stove-top.
Once the oil is shimmering, add in the steak, making sure to season it heavily with salt and pepper as it cooks.
Cook the pieces of steak for about 2 minutes, continuing to stir and turn the steak until you reach your desired level of doneness. The steak will continue to cook after it has been removed from the heat for several minutes, so be careful not to overcook it.
When you have removed the steak, move it to a plate and tent it with aluminum foil. Next, turn the heat to low and melt the butter in the same skillet.
Once the butter is melted, add in the garlic and pepper flakes, and saute until you can smell the garlic and it starts to brown, about 30 seconds, making sure to stir it constantly.
Directly pour the garlic butter over the steak bites, tossing it all together.
Garnish the dish with parsley and serve warm.
