Homestyle Potato Chips can be customized with any spices you want, so you can always have whatever chips make you happiest! Crunchy and salty in the way all great potato chips are, Homestyle Potato Chips are surprisingly easy to make and satisfying to eat. Just make sure you make enough because once you start eating, you'll have trouble stopping.


• 2 cups potatoes, thinly sliced • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil • 1 teaspoon kosher salt • other spices, optional, such as black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, etc., to taste


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2

Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3

In a large bowl, mix the potato slices and olive oil ensuring every slice of the potato is evenly coated and not sticking to each other.

Step 4

Place the sliced potatoes in a single layer with no overlap on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Sprinkle the kosher salt and your favorite spices evenly over the potato slices.

Step 6

Bake in the top half of the oven until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 7

Turn off the oven but let the potato chips sit in the oven undisturbed while they cool, for about 15-30 minutes.
