Ingredients
• 8 manicotti • 1 pound ground beef • 1 clove garlic, crushed • 1 cup cottage cheese • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/4 cup mayonnaise • 1 (15.5 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce • 1/2 teaspoon oregano • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, gratedDirections
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
Cook the manicotti shells according to package directions.
Drain the pasta before rinsing it in cold water.
Drain again, and set aside.
Sauté the ground beef and garlic in a skillet, stirring to crumble the beef, until the beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Drain the skillet.
Add the cottage cheese, mozzarella, salt, and mayonnaise to the skillet, stirring well.
Stuff the manicotti shells with the meat mixture.
Arrange the shells in the prepared baking dish.
Combine the spaghetti sauce and oregano.
Pour the sauce over the manicotti.
Sprinkle the tops of the manicotti with the parmesan cheese.
Cover and bake for 15 minutes.
Uncover and bake for 10 additional minutes.
Serve.
