Ingredients• 4 (4-ounce) pork loin chops, boneless • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon pepper • 1 tablespoon canola oil • 3 tablespoons ketchup • 2 tablespoons brown sugar • 3/4 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer
Sprinkle the pork chops with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
Add the pork chops to the skillet and brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes each.
In a bowl, mix the ketchup, brown sugar, and beer.
Pour the beer mixture over the pork chops in the skillet.
Bring the pork chop mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, until an instant thermometer inserted into the center of the pork reads 145 degrees F, about 4-6 minutes.
Let the pork chops stand for 5 minutes.
